Purple Pageant Inc. was born from the vision of Lisa D. Taylor, a community leader with over 30 years of involvement in the Citrus Heights and Sacramento areas. Lisa has dedicated her life to empowering young girls and women through leadership, confidence-building, and service.
After two decades of grassroots community work, Lisa launched the Purple Pageant to create something different — a pageant organization that measures success not just in crowns, but in confidence gained, friendships formed, and communities served.
Over the past 10 years of hosting the pageant, more than 80 girls, teens, and women have come through the program. Today, we continue to grow — but our heart remains the same. Every girl who steps onto our stage is celebrated for who she is and inspired to become who she wants to be.

Lisa D. Taylor is the visionary behind the Purple Pageant. With over 30 years of community involvement in the Citrus Heights and Sacramento areas, Lisa has dedicated her life to empowering young girls and women through leadership, confidence-building, and service.
What began as a grassroots commitment to her community grew into a decade of hosting pageants that have transformed the lives of more than 80 girls, teens, and women. Lisa believes that every girl deserves a stage to shine — and that true beauty is found in confidence, character, and a heart for service.
