Meet Lisa D. Taylor

Lisa D. Taylor is the visionary behind the Purple Pageant. With over 30 years of community involvement in the Citrus Heights and Sacramento areas, Lisa has dedicated her life to empowering young girls and women through leadership, confidence-building, and service. As a passionate advocate for Lupus awareness, inspired by her late mother, Lisa combines her compassion and determination to create meaningful opportunities for others. In addition to directing the Purple Pageant for the past nine years, Lisa owns the following programs and businesses: Lisa D’s Event Planning, Lisa D’s Fairytale Boutique, Young Teen Society, Beginner Business 101, Xister’s Networking, Purple and Gold Gala, Odesta Taylor Lupus Foundation, Boots and Bras Fundraiser. Her vibrant personality and dedication to her community continue to inspire and uplift those around her.
